WASHINGTON (D+D) — A senior Trump administration official received a ticket alone one area motorway this week. The citation, a minor traffic violation, is likely to be challenged in court.

Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross was apprehended before the 81 year-old former banker could pose a danger to himself or those around him. As a result of winter weather conditions, the car carrying Ross was deemed unsuitable for roadway navigation.

The series of events began when Ross left the Herbert C. Hoover building and found that a sheet of ice had formed on his vehicle.

The Secretary, a New Jersey native, who did not have an ice scraper stored in his glove compartment, ordered a member of the secret service to enter a nearby convenience store because “the King of Bankruptcy is a problem solver. ,” — as one passerby claimed to have been said.

“Arms apart, staring at the sky, ‘You cannot defeat the Ross,’ — yup, that’s what happened.”

The United Sates has recently been the subject of extreme weather conditions. As a result of polar wind, parts of the country have suffered temperatures significantly below zero. The mid-Atlantic region, while not as severely affected as the Midwest, suffered severe weather as well.

Ross became irate when his tax-payer funded security detail returned empty-handed. Despite having explained that stores do not typically stock Johnny Walker Blue Label, a premium liquor — the secretary planned to dilute the alcohol in hopes that the solution might melt the ice — Ross grew inconsolable; demanding to know how fast the Commerce department could suspend the store’s liquor license.

Department of Commerce did not immediately answer requests seeking comment on this story.

Prior to the vehicular incident, Ross was suffering an indignant start to this year. The Secretary, in a nationally televised interview, during which time the federal government was partially shut-down, suggested that furloughed workers apply for loans in order to supplement their lack of income.

Secret Service de-iced the vehicle’s widshiel after imploring the Secretary to wait inside. The ameliorated mood, however, would not last long.

Officials beckoned the black SUV containing the commerce secretary toward the shoulder of the road for operating with an obstructed view. Disturbed by heckles from pedestrians and other vehicles, Ross raised a rear window prematurely — which caused the glass to fog throughout his car.

Ross is due back in court next month. The commerce secretary is expected to dispute the charges brought against him.
