The calendar is missing an entry. In the face of a new day and week, month and year, the careful observer of time cannot help but notice a glaring absence on the grid. Religious observances, foreign and domestic, appear in a miniature font. It’s not about the difference between Canadian and American Thanksgiving, or even what Boxing Day entails. Next to the description of a lunar phase, even a small icon appears to ensure successful communication.  Not every imaginable holiday necessitates an appearance; surely the fanatics of Apple Bettys and Feral Cats understand that their interest, while valid, are also niche.
